1984 Chevy Shortbed 4x4. Mildly built 406 with 5000 miles, B&M Monster 700R4 high performance transmission with 3000 miles. New 6" Superlift lift kit, with drop brackets for transfer case, sway bar, and stainless steel brake lines. New 35" Thornbirds mounted on 15x15 Mickey Thompson wheels. Rebuilt factory axles with 4:10 gears and posi-trac in rear. Rebuilt steering box, new brakes.
Power windows, locks, and cold A/C. Original interior with a 1988 seat, factory radio, tilt, and cruise which is not hooked up to the edelbrock carburetor. Carpet is showing wear and the dash has some cracks overall a decent interior.
The body has some "character" rust on the bed sides, tailgate, and passenger cab corner. Otherwise a very solid body that looks good. Paint is thin and showing its age but still looks OK. No major dents and no amateur body work.
With the new steering components and with the lift done right this truck drives very good even with the overly wide tires. Runs great, and shifts strong just a good old 80's Chevy. Gas mileage is even bearable at 13 miles to the gallon.
