1915 Vintage Singer No 66 Red Eye Treadle Sewing Machine
This is a super clean and workable vintage Singer Elizabethport RED EYE treadle model 66. The sewing machine was made in April 1915.
The machine is the traditional black with scroll red/gold ornamentation. The unit itself has all parts and areas that turns freely, would assume that it would sew, probably needs a good cleaning, oiling and adjusting.
The cabinet is all original and is the model No 2,plain oak veneer cabinet with (5) drawers
The serial number is G4009232,which is dated April 20,1915 on the Singer chart.
The machine is in very clean condition, recently new belt installed, The machine works freely and appears all parts move as it should----probably will sew as it should. The machine has some normal use wear, some rubs, and scratches on the bed. As with a used unit, there is some normal use wear, a few scratches and rubs.
The cabinet is super clean and in great condition for the era, .. NO KEY, top lid small chip out on edge.
Metal base super clean and in good condition, no cracks or welds, some chips in paint.
